Vampire Tales presents five original stories featuring bloodsucking creatures of the night—and the people who hunt them. Each story is approximately 1,500 words and ends at a thrilling cliffhanger. Writing prompts lead kids to write their own endings (or their own complete stories). The book is not just stories. It’s also a locking journal: a plastic hand, molded in ghostly white, clamps the book closed. Kids use a key (which comes attached to the book) to open it.
